Selva, the heart of American jungles

Publishing project

"To give the kick-off for this new day, the howler monkeys, the well appointed, are in the best position. Their cries overpowering and frightening spread for miles. Toucans, parrots and Montezuma Oropendolas bring finally a little melody to this background sound brutal and guttural. A musty smell, finely perceptible, testifies the dampness of the ambient air. SYNOPSIS : From 2006 to 2007 and 2009 to 2010, Marie-Anne and Sylvain left France for the tropical forests of America. Through Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala and Costa Rica, they shared their daily activities between photography and volunteer program for associations involved in the conservation of wildlife. The travel narrative, which provides an overview of the biological richness of rainforests, is the result of their adventures: a tribute to the hot and humid regions and to everyone that fell concerned about their future.
